The word "laser" is an acronym for Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation.  The theory was first described by Albert Einstein (1879-1955) who paved the way for the development of the therapeutic laser.

The first low-level therapeutic laser was developed in 1962.  By the end of the 1960's, Professor Endre Mester of Budapest, Hungary first reported his experience using laser light to treat non-healing wounds and ulcers in diabetic patients.  Mester had a 70% success rate in treating these wounds leading to the development of the science of what he called "laser biostimulation."  Since then, scientists and doctors around the world have been using laser light to treat conditions that can affect all age groups.

Mac Beam Inc's Bio-Energy Light Therapy System was developed by Mac Beam Inc in conjunction with its contract manufacturer Amest Corporation located in Southern California. The MB Bio-Energy Light Therapy System has been streamlined from many facets of modern physics, biomedical science, and medicine into a unique medical care system designed to facilitate healthcare therapy to those suffering.

The MB Bio-Energy Light Therapy System is a unique integration of the following:

  • High tech LED photo therapy
  • Highly unique wavelength pattern formulations correlative to specific medical applications and anatomical logistics
  • Mac Beam patented BELG Methodology
  • Multiple probe application

BELG Method

Otherwise known as the BioEnlongen method is a therapeutic method in which plural points on the body are stimulated by light of different wavelengths emitted from wands, probes or other applicators under the control of a central microprocessor. The microprocessor executes program instructions to produce light at each applicator whose intensity, frequency, duration and pulsation accord with protocols which are automatically selected depending on the portion of the body being treated. The protocols can be manually overridden by the therapist, in which case the changed parameters are stored in memory. The apparatus is particularly useful in performing traditional therapeutic methods to treat internal disorders, substance abuse, pediatric and podiatric problems and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, as well as musculoskeletal, neurological or dermatological disorders.
